The Alexander Home is famous for its marble frieze depicting Alexander the Great moving into Babylon. We loved the excellent Queen’s Library, which features a fantastic gilded inside with opulent chandeliers, ornate stucco do the job, and a small section from the royal family’s huge historic book collection.
